UDAQ-1432AL, UDAQ-1432AS
The UDAQ-1416Ax, UDAQ-1416Dx and UDAQ-1432Ax module series is a powerful multifunctional module for the USB interface.
The modules are fitted with 14-bit A/D converter, providing 16 or 32 analog inputs, two analog outputs with the possibility of the autonomous cyclic signal generation, four digital inputs (which serve also as the counter inputs) and four digital outputs.
The "A" series modules provide single ended (S.E.) inputs, the "D" series modules provide either 16 S.E. inputs also available as 8 differential inputs.
While the "S" series modules provide analog outputs, the "L" series modules are not equipped with any analog output.
Control core of the module
This module series is based on a modern circuit realised by the control microprocessor, efficient FPGA and two-channel USB controller.
While the microprocessor ensures the module controlling functions, the FPGA processes the data of the ADC, generates the data for the DAC and manages all data transfers between the data buffers and the USB interface.
Analog Outputs
The modules are available either without analog outputs ("AL", or "DL" version) or with two analog outputs ("AS", or "DS" version).
The analog output circuits provide the data buffers and they allow the user to generate the signals with high frequency and low jitter. The data generation operates in the countinuous data block mode (the data are continuously transferred from PC) or in the cyclical mode (the module generates the block of data from the buffer; no data are transferred from the PC during the generation so the USB interface is not loaded).
The analog outputs may (besides the block mode) operate in the mode of standard software control.
All types feature low consumption and they can be powered from the USB port only (optionaly can be powered from an external power supply).

Note:
The maximum analog input sampling frequency shown above is defined for the signal source input impedance of 1 kΩ max.
Due to the interaction of measurement and generation in countinuous data stream mode, maximum sampling frequency is limited to 200 kSamples/s for both together. Signal generation in cyclic buffer mode does not affect measurement at all.
